BASEBALL

Grow With Us, where All Kids Play! Join KIDSPORTS and play Summer Baseball! Pre-k (4 and 5 year olds) play in our Li’l Hitters program, T-Ball is available for kindergarteners while first graders will play Modified Machine/Coach-Pitch! Second graders will move to Machine/Coach-Pitch while third/fourth, fifth/sixth and seventh/eighth graders will play JBO rules baseball (www.juniorbaseballoforegon.com).

What does playing JBO Baseball mean for kids and parents?

 The same commitment to “All Kids Play” as we have always had. JBO has identical rules about substitution and playing requirements.
 Kids will play together on teams in the summer without the pressure and politics of All-Star selection.
 The opportunity for teams from the KIDSPORTS program to go on to a state championship tournament – at all skill levels!
 The opportunity for additional games. Teams may elect to play in optional mid-season JBO tournaments around the state. Each of these tournaments will require an additional tournament entry fee.
 Playing baseball in the Summer!

KIDSPORTS is lining up the end of the season for 3rd/4th kid-pitch through 8th grade baseball. Every Kidsports team will be included in the regular season-ending Little World Series. With two games guaranteed in the LWS, each 3rd/4th grade baseball team will play at least 10 games and each 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade baseball team plays at least 12 games during the season. In addition, the LWS will help select the baseball representatives to the JBO State Tournaments which are held July 19th through the 29th. So, keep those dates open!
