General Format
Welcome to the 17th Annual Memorial Day Soccer Tournament. We continue the tradition of hosting this large tournament on 14-16 fields at four sites, two of which contain 12-14 fields and are within walking distance of each other. The registration deadline is May 2, 2008. Tournament Headquarters will be at Thurston High School, Springfield, Oregon.
We provide a 4 game guarantee in two days with Memorial Day Monday open. Our Tournament is open but we are a Classic level tournament targeting teams below the Premier level. We will have boys and girls divisions U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16 and U18. U10 teams will play the 8 v 8 format. We will have Upper and Lower divisions in all age groups where we have the necessary entrants.
Age classification will be based on the 2007-2008 playing year.
Team Plaques will be given to at least three and on occasion four teams in each Division. Individual Medals will be given to players from the top two teams in each Division.
