Memorial Day Soccer Tournament 2013 |
General Format
Welcome to the 22nd Annual Memorial Day Soccer Tournament. We continue the tradition of hosting this large tournament on 10-12 fields at multiple sites, over half of which are artificial turf
fields. The registration deadline is May 3, 2013. Tournament Headquarters will be at Willamette High School, Eugene, Oregon.
We provide a 4 game guarantee in two days with Memorial Day Monday open. Our Tournament is open but we are a Classic level tournament targeting teams below the Premier level. We will have boys and
girls divisions U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16 and U18. U10 and U11 teams will play the 8 v 8 format. U11 teams will have the choice to play 8v8 or 11v11 in a U11/U12 division. We will have
Upper and Lower divisions in all age groups where we have the necessary entrants.
Age classification will be based on the 2012-2013 playing year (chart here).
Team Plaques will be given to at least three and on occasion four teams in each Division. Individual Medals will be given to players from the top two teams in each Division.
