Beth Nitkowski Honorary Scholarship Fund

Beth Nitkowski is a true Kidsports-community unsung hero. For countless years, Beth has been a constant presence of absolute and constant positivity on the Kidsports sidelines – coaching multiple teams of both boys and girls in virutally every sports season of the year. A champion for, and teacher of youth sports in the Churchill area – Beth keeps so many boys and girls playing; not only because it’s fun – but because she makes it fun! Probably the highest measure of success a youth coach can be judged by – is the number of kids that continue to play sports becuse of their efforts. There are current, and once upon a time Churchill area kids – from 3 and 4-year-olds on up to college-aged young adults – who can all say they play; or played sports because of Beth. In the Churchill High School area, Beth almost serves as a volunteer youth sports information director – making sure families; both new and longtime participants, are aware of the youth sports opporunities that are available, and so important to kids.

The rare individuals like Beth – who give of their time and energy so generously; and who take such an active role in helping our young people find a positive outlet in sports – are the backbone of why Kidsports exists. They are the engine that drives our program. In our perfect world, every community would have someone like Beth. But we’re just glad we have her here in ours. Seeing Beth in action – whether on the soccer field; basketball court; volleyball court; or softball field – makes you proud to be a part of the Kidsports community.
