A Brief History of KIDSPORTS

In December of 1953 The EBBA (Eugene Boys Basketball Association) was formed.

In April 1954, the EBBA expanded to include baseball.

In 1975 the name was changed to ESP (Emerald Sports Program) and separate gender programs were offered.

In 1987 Springfield was added and the name became ESP/SSP.

Later that year the name was changed to KIDSPORTS.
